A new pressure relief valve (PRV) was installed at the reservoir to prevent overflow during periods of heavy rainfall, helping to protect surrounding infrastructure and maintain safe water levels.
The PRV was fitted with a Rotork multi-turn actuator, allowing for precise control and positioning. The actuator uses a 4–20mA current signal to open, close, and hold the valve at the required position, ensuring responsive and reliable operation.
